CabFlex™ Cabin Entertainment and Control System

Intheairnet’s CabFlex™ Cabin Entertainment and Control System is a powerful,
flexible, and highly functional cabin system. It provides access to entertainment
(audio/video) and [controls numerous cabin functions] via several types of touch
sensitive panels and [passenger control units] - each unit featuring different levels
of functionality. The system gives passengers and crew control over cabin lighting,
attendant call, selection of [various audio & video sources], control of video screens
and cabin audio routing as well as the capability of individual selection (for cabin area
and at-seat) audio and video entertainment, individual headset volume control and
full audio equalization. CabFlex™ can be configured with a selection of Line Replaceable
Units (LRUs) providing audio and video sources and interface components all inter-linked
with a cabin digital data serial communication (SCL) bus, providing hardwire control
and discrete command lines. 
           
However CabFlex is unlike any other cabin system available today.
CabFlex is designed to be completely configured or reconfigured in the field!
The core components of CabFlex are the same from ship set to ship set. We have
designed power software that allows installers to configure CabFlex in the hangar
in order to meet their needs.

This dramatically reduces lead-time and cost.
Further, it reduces the cost of ownership for aircraft owner/operators if they want
to add source equipment or make system changes in the future.

ITAN offers standard CabFlex™ systems for different sized aircraft. Each is preconfigured
for typical cabin entertainment and control. Fully expandable, standard systems can be
upgraded or have options added to provide future expansion when desired.
