The Entertainment Controller System is a
powerful replacement for legacy IFE head-
end equipment. Airlines operating aircraft
with older tape/media players can replace
this equipment with the fully-digital
Entertainment Controller to provide features
such as safety briefing and entertainment
scripting, Moving Map and Multiple Languages.

Because the system is fully digital, content can
simply and securely be uploaded and then
recalled instantly at the touch of a screen.
This eliminates the need for storing and
rewinding multiple tapes of feature films and
safety announcements, and it greatly simplifies
operations and media distribution.

The Entertainment Controller System is comprised of the touch screen with embedded
ruggedized computer and hard drive plus a Digital Media Server (DMS) that sores media and
the PaxMap™ Moving Map Software. The DMS reads information from the aircraft’s navigation
system to display position, altitude, wind speed, time to destination and other information on
PaxMap™. This information is also used to prompt events in a script determined by the airline.
For example triggers such as aircraft brakes on/off, altitude, weight on/off wheels, destination,
and time to destination can be used to automatically play boarding music, safety announcements,
airline promotional content, and feature films. Languages for safety briefings and other content
can be scripted to automatically change depending on the destination of the aircraft.
